Integration & Development

We build the things
that connect
your business.

Not general software for general problems. We work on integrations, bespoke platforms, and tools for businesses that have outgrown off-the-shelf solutions. If your systems don’t talk to each other, or you need something that simply doesn’t exist yet — that’s the conversation to have.

What we’re good at
REST API integration
Connecting systems that don’t talk to each other. Whether it’s two SaaS platforms, a legacy system, or a hardware device with an API — we’ve done it.
Bespoke web platforms
Built on ASP.NET Zero or ABP.io — proven frameworks that give you a solid foundation without reinventing the wheel. Multi-tenant capable.
Flutter mobile apps
Cross-platform mobile development for iOS and Android. One codebase, both platforms. Used in ACUTEC Attendance for employee clock-in.
Background services & automation
Console applications and Windows services that run in the background — data sync, scheduled processing, automated reporting.
Who this is for

Focused. Not trying to be
everything to everyone.

We’re a small, capable development team embedded in an IT and security company. We’re not a large agency, and we don’t pretend to be. What we are is engineers who understand infrastructure, security, and integration — which means the software we build fits properly into the environment it runs in.

We’re most useful to businesses that have a specific problem, know what outcome they need, and want a team that will be honest about what it takes to deliver it. We won’t take on projects we’re not confident delivering. If something isn’t right for us, we’ll say so.

What we hear from businesses switching provider
01
The disconnected systems problem
“We have three systems that all hold overlapping data and none of them talk to each other. Staff manually update all three.”
02
The outgrown software problem
“We’ve been using the same system for eight years. It doesn’t do what we need anymore but nothing off-the-shelf fits our process.”
03
The manual process problem
“We have a member of staff who spends two days a week extracting data from one system and putting it into another. There has to be a better way.”
04
The hardware integration problem
“We have biometric hardware on our doors and a separate HR system. We need them to work together and produce a report we can actually use.”
What we build

Integrations. Platforms.
Tools that work.

We choose the right technology for the problem. Not the technology we’re most comfortable with, and not whatever’s on the marketing agenda. Here’s what that looks like in practice.

INTEGRATION — REST APIS
Connecting your systems
Most modern software exposes a REST API. We connect them — pulling data from one system, transforming it, and pushing it to another. Webhooks, scheduled sync, event-driven triggers. If two systems have APIs, we can make them work together. If one doesn’t, we’ve worked with that too.
PLATFORMS — .NET / C#
Bespoke web applications
We build on ASP.NET Zero and ABP.io — established .NET frameworks that give multi-tenancy, authentication, role-based access, and audit logging out of the box. You get a solid, maintainable codebase rather than something that only the original developer can work on. MySQL, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL depending on your environment.
MOBILE — FLUTTER / DART
Cross-platform mobile apps
Flutter gives us one codebase for iOS and Android. We use it in ACUTEC Attendance — the employee mobile app for clock-in, annual leave viewing, and (on request) geofenced remote clock-in. For businesses that need a simple, functional mobile app rather than a full consumer-grade product.
SERVICES — BACKGROUND PROCESSING
Things that run quietly in the background
Console applications and Windows services for scheduled jobs — nightly data exports, automated report generation, sync between systems, alerting. The kind of thing that runs at 3am and nobody thinks about until it stops. We build these to be robust, logged, and recoverable.
ACUTEC Attendance
Our own SaaS product Multi-tenant time & attendance platform. One codebase, multiple clients. Biometric hardware integration with Suprema BioStar. Employee portal and mobile app included. Deployed and live.
Suprema
Hardware integration experience ACUTEC Attendance integrates directly with Suprema BioStar and Suprema biometric access control hardware. Real API integration against physical devices in production environments.
SaaS
We believe in the model Central server. Tenant-based. One deployment, multiple clients. New features roll out to everyone. That’s how ACUTEC Attendance works — and it’s the model we advocate for bespoke platform work.
What we've delivered

Real projects.
Real outcomes.

Manufacturing — Bespoke CRM
“Digbits needed a CRM built around their manufacturing process — not a generic sales tool shoehorned into an environment it wasn’t designed for.”

Digbits, a West Midlands manufacturer, needed a system that matched how they actually worked. Off-the-shelf CRM options required their team to adapt to the software. ACUTEC built the software to adapt to them — a bespoke CRM platform that improved efficiency and productivity in measurable ways.

Bespoke
Built around their process, not a generic template
Measurable improvement in efficiency and productivity
What ACUTEC delivered
1
Bespoke software platform
Nusteel, a structural steel manufacturer, required a software solution built specifically for their operations. ACUTEC delivered a bespoke platform that replaced manual processes and integrated with their existing systems.
2
ACUTEC Attendance deployments
Deployed to Scolmore, Webro, Safeway Scaffolding, and Powerday. Suprema biometric integration, weekly reporting, employee portal, and mobile app across multiple tenants from one central codebase.
One partner. Full coverage.
Cloud, security, and support — no gaps, no finger-pointing
The development team

Three developers.
One clear specialism.

We’re a small team. That’s intentional. Smaller teams move faster, communicate better, and don’t lose things between handoffs. If you work with us, you’re working directly with the people writing the code.

Simon has led ACUTEC’s development function for a number of years, with a background spanning C#, .NET, PHP, Flutter, and REST API integration. He designed and built <strong>ACUTEC Attendance as a multi-tenant SaaS platform</strong> — one installation, central server, multiple clients — which is the model he advocates for any platform work of scale.

The team works across the full stack — from database design in MySQL, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL through to .NET back-end services, web front-ends, and Flutter mobile apps. The shared foundation is <strong>ASP.NET Zero and ABP.io</strong>, which gives enterprise-grade features (multi-tenancy, RBAC, audit logging) without building them from scratch every time.

We’re honest about what we take on. If a project requires capabilities we don’t have, or a timeline we can’t meet confidently, we’ll tell you. The businesses we work best with are ones that know what they need and want a team that delivers — not one that overpromises and manages expectations downward.

connect.

A 30-minute call is usually enough to know whether a project is right for us. We’ll ask what you’re trying to achieve, what you’ve tried already, and what the business outcome looks like. If it fits — we’ll scope it properly. If it doesn’t — we’ll tell you why and point you somewhere useful.
